Eyelids (Short Film, DVD, Book)
Soon after Writer/Director Brad Bischoff wrote a short poem entitled Eyelids, he began to see the potential for a children's book which eventually evolved into an award winning short film. With both an accompanying film and book, Eyelids is a prime example of the multi-armed content creator that Rubbish wishes to become. The presentation of the children's book and film together allow us to grab the attention of parents and children alike with a universal theme: everybody wants to be noticed by the ones they love.
Eyelids was one of Rubbish's first projects bringing multiple mediums together and since we had all of the talent in house already we knew we could combine the two perfectly. Our Art Director Nick Santore teamed up with Brad to translate a simple poem into a beautiful book which because of their knowledge of each others mediums was able to interact seamlessly with the film.
